How Luciraa collects, uses and protects your personal data.
Last Updated: 21 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Luciraa ("we", "us") collects when you use our website or buy from us, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
Luciraa is based in Surat, Gujarat, India. For any privacy question, email support@luciraa.com.
1. What We Collect
Details you give us:
Contact and delivery details: your name, email address, phone number and delivery address.
Account details: your email and password (we store the password only in a scrambled, unreadable form). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google.
Order details: what you bought, how much you paid, and how you chose to pay.
Messages and claims: emails you send us, and the videos and photos you share when you report a damaged or wrong product.
Reviews: reviews and photos you post on our website.
Newsletter: your email address, if you sign up for offers and news.
Payment details: online payments are handled by our payment partner, Razorpay. We do not see or store your full card number, CVV or UPI PIN. Razorpay only tells us whether a payment succeeded, with a reference number.
Details collected automatically: when you visit our website, we and our service providers collect some technical details. These include your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you view, the items in your cart and wishlist, and how you found our website. We use cookies to do this (see section 5).
2. Why We Use Your Data
To take your order, deliver it, collect cash on delivery and send you updates about it.
To create and run your account, and remember your cart and wishlist.
To answer your questions and handle returns and replacements.
To send you offers and news by email, but only if you signed up. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email.
To understand how people use our website, so we can improve it.
To prevent fraud and misuse.
To keep invoices and records that tax and other laws require.
We use your data only for these purposes, and only with your consent or where the law allows it.
3. Who We Share It With
We do not sell your personal data. We share only what is needed with:
Courier partners, to deliver your order and collect cash on delivery.
Razorpay, to take online payments and send refunds.
Our service providers that host our website, store files and send our emails.
Google Analytics, to measure how our website is used, if you allow analytics cookies.
Crisp, our live-chat provider, if you use live chat.
Government authorities, when the law requires it.
These partners may only use your data to provide their service to us. Some of them may store data on servers outside India.
4. How Long We Keep It
Account details: for as long as your account is open. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete it unless the law needs us to keep some details.
Orders and invoices: for as long as tax and accounting laws require.
Claim videos and photos: until your claim is settled, and for a short time after in case of questions.
Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
5. Cookies
Cookies are small files that a website saves in your browser. We use:
Necessary cookies — needed for the website to work, for example to keep you signed in and remember your cart. These are always on.
Functional cookies — for live chat and to remember your preferences.
Analytics cookies — to understand how visitors use the website.
Marketing cookies — to show you relevant offers and adverts.
When you first visit, you can choose which optional cookies to allow. You can change your choice at any time from the cookie settings on our website, or block cookies in your browser settings.
6. How We Protect It
We use secure (HTTPS) connections, scrambled passwords and limited staff access to protect your data. No website is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to keep your data safe. If a data breach affects you, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
7. Your Rights
Under Indian law, you have the right to:
Ask what personal data we hold about you and how we use it.
Ask us to correct or update your data.
Ask us to delete your data, when we no longer need it for the reason it was collected or by law.
Withdraw your consent at any time — for example, by unsubscribing from emails. This does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
Name another person to use these rights for you if you die or are unable to.
Make a complaint to our Grievance Officer (see section 10).
To use any of these rights, email support@luciraa.com from the email address on your account. We may ask you to confirm who you are before we act.
8. Children
Our website is meant for adults. A person under 18 should use it only with a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect data from children without a parent's or guardian's consent. If you think we have, email us and we will delete it.
9. Other Websites
Our website links to other websites, such as Razorpay's payment page and courier tracking pages. Their own privacy policies apply there, not this one.
